We're in the process of upgrading our pacu tank. So far, all that's been done is 800 cubic yards of dirt removed. We also had a new driveway entrance put in. The driveway was graded and rocked, and if there is any $$$ left after our fishroom/garage build, the driveway will be paved. In the meantime, people are driving on our driveway, and messing up the rock when we're not home. GATE time.

My husband is building the gate. It's a monster gate, 14.5' long and 8' tall. It's too heavy for him to lift up. Here it is lying just outside the garage.

We are going to have a fish gate! We just got back 3' replicas of our fish.

The fish are going back to the metal fabricator for powder coating.

This is how we celebrate our monster fish:)

Pictures of our boys were projected and enlarged to make templates.

why were people driving on your driveway when you weren't there?

Don't know...possibly to check out all the dirt we removed (if it's the neighbors), or people using it to turn around, since it's a loop driveway.

The fish were powder coated last week, The gate may be mounted this week if it stops raining long enough. Last week my husband put in the gate posts--7" square posts cemented in 6' deep.

post a pic of your property you must have a big yard/driveway

Not really, but we don't live in the 'burbs. We only have an acre which goes to the middle of the Smith River...so there's not a lot of usable land. There are about 9 houses off a private road, and the road goes down hill. There is no place to turn around, except in somebody's driveway. When we had the dirt removed, we punched in a new entrance. Our new entrance is actually wider than the road which veers to the left. Don't have a good picture of the driveway.

You can see part of the driveway in this pic (taken from the front door) of a freak snow fall we had. It loops around those trees. The private road is not visible in this pic.

A lot of the dirt on the right had to be removed to make room for the new garage. The fish room will be where the existing garage is.
