center support for diy 20g stand?

I'm running out of room for my tanks and needed to set a couple more especially since I got to healing oscar, time to start stacking tanks .

I made this on whim from scrap 2x4s I have sitting outside. I'm not sure if I need to add support in the middle between the front and rear supports.

please advice . thanks

For a 20 I'm thinking that'll hold just fine.

found a couple more clean pieces and glued/screwed them in just because.

The heavier, metal shelving at Lowe's, home depot, will hold as many 20 gallons as you can fit. On a 8 foot span.

I was planning on buying 2 more 40g breeder tanks and a metal rack from Lowe's to complete my twin double stacked set up but moneys kinda short at the moment. I already had the 20g tanks and needed more room for fish, so I figured il build a stand for a temporary setup.
my goal is for my planted tanks/ guppy colony on one setup and convicts breeding pair/ blue ram colony in an another. I'm halfway there atleast
