I would like to get a decent catfish to use as a centerpiece of my 55 gallon tank. i don't know what happened but i've been taking a liking to them lately and have my rapheal but would like something thats a little more active.

synodontis multi's are pretty active. They do well in groups and kind of do the schooling thing, which looks good. The group I had was constantly cruising around my tank together. And they only get about 6 inches long which would fit well in a 55. Petricolas are pretty good too. Although, mine tend to stay hidden most of the time.
