Stocking otherwise-
Tuxedo koi guppies (x6, 2 males 4 females, but of course that number will grow)
Blue diamond shrimp (x10, but of course that number will grow)
Longfin L144a plecos (x2, m/f pair, but of course that number will grow)
pink ramshorn snails (however many i get and however many that number grows to)
purple mystery snails (x3, but population will of course, grow)
as those populations grow i will of course sell off any that overpopulate the tank.

My ideas for a centerpiece for that tank though would be either a pair of betta smaragdina, a pair of elassoma gillberti, or a pair of mikrogeophagus ramirezi (or as you know them, rams)
and of course all of those can breed in a tank like this. the rams and bettas can acclimate to higher pH but i know the pygmy sunfish don't really like it anywhere over 7, so that probably answers my question in regards to those. b.smaragdina can be swapped out for b.mahachai or b.imbellis, i just need help choosing. all three betta species can do well in pH ranges of between 7-8.5, so my water would be good for them in that regard.
