I have a semi planted 90g center piece tank that is truly beautiful. Everyone that sees it loves it. The tank annoys the hell out of me. It just missing something. Looking for ideas of cool fish to make tank. It does not have to be anything exotic. Cheap and easy to find would be best
Stock:
two blood parrots
Flowerhorn parrot
three rope fish
three young p. senegalus
mix of giant dianos, gold three inch tetras, rainbowfish
three clown loaches
pair bristle nose plecos
oh and a silver dollar

I'm surprised the danios, rainbowfish and tetras are mixed with bichirs and parrots. I'd isolate those three fish. What species is your silver dollar? Consider adding more. Perhaps replace your blood parrots with severums. Severums look more exotic but that's how I perceive it.lol ;)

maybe it needs a crayfish? or 2?
Crayfish are out of the question unfortunately. Either the dwarf species get eaten by some of the fish mentioned or the large ones damaging the fish especially the bichirs.

i wouldnt add anything, maybe swap out some fish for others of the same species that you already have. a small shoal of dollars may be just the thing you're looking for.

i thought about severums. They would destroy the plants. Crayfish are defiantly not suitable.
