Decided to go to plan A and just do an all male tank after my last recent spawn. I just sold all my fish Rio sarstun melanura females with a male to someone who will try to continue to breed them and try and get this type of melanura more in the hobby up here in Minnesota. The only guy I know who has this specific melanura is Don Conkels. I kept myself 3 Rio sarstun males. I have a lot of fry from my last spawn with these fish so I'll be adding the nicest male or the batch to the tank once bit enough.

In the video there's 3 to F1 vieja melanura rip sarstun, one F1 vieja melanura Laguna Yaxha, and a black belt. I'll be adding a male vieja breidohri and possibly a pearsi to this tank. All these fish will be moved to a 300 gallon I have in storage this summer.

Tank looks great did yu get rid of the argentae ?

Ya sadly I had to, it was starting to become an ass and pecking my fish up way too much. Would constantly harass most of my fish. I may try adding an Argentea to the group once I move them in my 300 gallon. Might work then. They seem to be very hit or miss though with aggression. He was turning out to be a true show stopper too it sucked having to get rid of him. It may have worked out if I was able to keep him until after I removed the divider with my dominant male melanura and female finishing up with raising their fry. I just removed the divider and the fry on Tuesday. When my dominant male melanura patrolled the tank the Argentea pretty much kept to himself.
