Few pics of my 300. I'm always on here but don't think I've ever posted my tank. I'm probably going to be overstocked as these grow but I really want to add and an amphilophus to the mix. Leaning towards a trimac or a red isletus but just cant make up my mind and would love some input on how full my stock is. Foot print is 8feet long,2 feet wide and 30 inches tall. Not the greatest pics, I'm still working on my picture taking skills!

They all in between 1.5-4 inches at the moment and hoping if they grow up together they will learn to coexist. Currently have 2 festae, yellow head chocolate cichlid, red istlanum, nourissati, bartoni, grammodes, and an argentea. Thanks for looking.

i luv chocolates and advocate for them being in mix setups. Adults can bang with the best of them. juvies on the other hand are a bit more fragile. in that mix yours will not last very long. to many major league killer parachromis in there who are notorious for wiping out tankmates. ehh. but everything is worth a shot... except a catfish (RTC, TSN,) in a tank under 100 gallons

F U L L T A N K S H O T ! You can't post about a 300 and not show it. Great looking fish and I agree the Festae is beautiful.

Full tank shots! Thanks for the compliments on the festae, pretty positive its a female and she is coloring up very good for such a small size.

I don't have any parachromis, my chocolate is the boss and has a big size advantage on the rest of my stock. I'm very confident that he will do extremely well in my tank.

Thank You. Very cool tank good job. You gotta love a 300 gallon tank, that's MONSTER!

Thanks again, been working on the aqua scape lately, it changes dramatically every water change lol. Got a few more pieces of wood soaking hopefully will help a bit. Very hard to find nice big pieces of drift wood that don't cost an arm and a leg.

having a hard time picking out the Festae on the full tank shots... lol just kidding. stands out like a sore thumb! awesome!
