I finally got around to finally getting everything setup with my central system setup. Today I finished up the heating system. The red pump turns on when the Electronic Temp controller tells it to at certain temp point and draws hot water from my Water heater. It then goes through the heat exchanger, back up to Air separator, and then back to water heater to create a heating circuit loop. Also, there is a sump pump that pumps the sump tank water up to the heat exchanger to get heated, and then returns to the sump.

Let me know what you all think!! Any comments are welcome!! Sorry for the messy fish room...but this guy has been busy!!!

it took a lot of work and time for me to get this together...I am so glad that It is done....and the way I have it set up...I can keep adding tanks to the sytem.

Very, very nice! What kind of water heater do you use?

I have wanted to do something along these lines, but we have propane hot water. When we built the house ten years ago propane was a dollar-something a gallon. Now it is over $2/G and I am fairly sure that it is cheaper for me to keep running electric heaters... :irked:

Looks like a great setup. Great work man.

I have a natural gas hot water heater...but I do plan on upgrading to a tankless natural gas water heater for the entire house in the future

I wish we could get NG up here. One of the disadvantages of living in the styx...
