Centre brace urgent help??

Hey guys so my 300g brace came loose while the tank was running...I bought the tank like this and never reinforced the centre brace...Anyway I can fix it as the front glass of the tank is pulling front when the tank is filled...I have taken the water out and planning to fix it...

What do I use to fix it?
Will it last or just replace the tank?
Should I remove the brace too fix it?

The pic is of the glass that is used as a brace and the back is still glued and in contact...Please help as my fish are in buckets now

Theres no quick easy fix other then like a wood clamp on it for now. But if its already seperating, its too late for even that. Time to re seal and euro brace it

Yea but not cheap unless you find someone with a tank to use the glass from. Its basically a glass top rim

Get to a glass shop and gave them cut a length of acrylic,almost like a two by four with grooves cut into each end for the front and back rim if the tank to fit into...a temporary fix until you can get a proper top rim with braces.

When my 135 bowed out I got some bailing wire and secured it to the back of the stand at the center and them had plastic pieces (tops to film canisters actually) to keep it from biting into the tank trim then tightened it up front and secured it to the stand again. Held without issues

I was thinking of building a metal brace for the top of the tank something like this??

When i broke my brace i went to local fish store like last time to get new top brace. They said for liability the no longer made. People were making crappy tanks and putting companies tops on making them look bad. I was not wanting to carry big tank in and out. So i screwed 2 pieces of aluminum flat stock together and put stainless 'L' brackets on each side. Cheap, easy, rust proof, etc mashaAllaah. One down side. The lids don't fit in perfectly like they did with factory center brace
