ceramic ring question

whould u guys think that if i replace my carbon in my whisper 30 for ceramic rings

or should i put the carbon and ceramin rings together
 
i dont use carbon either.. unless i need to remove stuff like meds.. youll find alot of ppl here dont use carbon in their normal setup..

go with the rings..

You forgot to mention that carbon removes the nasty fish smell from the water. For new setup and newbies, using carbon would aid in cycling a tank. Other than these benefits, using carbon in filters is not an absolute necessity.
