I just received my Odyssea CFS 500 canister filter. On most posts i have read about this filter, people say it comes with the green 1" monster hoses. Mine came with smaller gray flexible hoses. Is this what comes with the newer version with the electrical cord running out of the lid? It seems like the flow isn't as powerful as others i have seen, probably due to the smaller diameter. Although, it did go together very easily. The red quick stops spin freely, which was a relief, and I only had problems with 1 o-ring moving. Everything seems to be built fairly decent for the price, so now i'll just pray i don't spring a leak.
