Very much south..
Got me a couple of 4 inches Chacas... they hardly move..anything special I ought to be aware of?

Inputs appreciated guys!:)

ooh my God! I've put them in the big aro's sump to grow up...could they be toxic?
 
They are actually. Get them in there own tank asap, although them small fish may not release enough toxins to really harm in such a big system, I would still not risk it.
 
One thing to think about is what exactly triggers the release???

There's a COTM article about some Chaca sp on Planet Catfish that might interest you. I don't know about the potential toxin, but I have heard about their ability to quickly acidify the water. This has been attributed to their powerful digestive acids required to eat very large prey items relative to their size.
 
I had two Chaca chaca a few years ago and they were fine with all other fish. I even could move them with my hand when i was cleaning my tank. I never had a problem with them!
