I have a coralife biocube 29 and want to make the 2nd chamber of the sump into a refugium, but I don't want to have to spend $60 on a sump light. I have found the mighty ray 21 and it says that it runs on 2 watts. will this be enough to grow and sustain chaeto? Would it even be enough to sustain freshwater plants? thanks.

I would go with one that's all white because chaeto doesn't use the blue light to grow so it'd just be a waste. I'm not familiar with the brand though so I don't know if that unit is sufficient enough but if it really is 2 watts, it should be fine.
