15x4? That's outlandish. They're an ambush species. Not terribly active unless feeding. I was thinking a 220 would be overkill.

In tanks smaller than that I've known them to smash themselves to death,also chain pickerel can best 36 inches in length,if u want a 220 gal tank then u should go with the Redfin pickerel ,which is a smaller esox species.
