What's up guys!?

Just curious if anyone has bred these monsters? I have a trio that i'd like to try and breed once I get a larger tank. Any suggestions on tank sizes that have been successful? I was looking into a 125 or 150. Anyone other hints, tricks, and advice is appreciated. Thank ya!

I saw a trio recently in my lfs breed in a 90. They looked a little cramped but they are probally one of the coolest looking fish. I have a 4 inch bucco that I really like.. but the champsochromis looks even cooler. Good luck with these guys you have some really impressive fish!

Thanks! And I bet they were cramped. I have mine in a 75 for right now and i know they wish they had more room to swim. haha. I wont be able to get anything bigger til fall when I start my job and get my own place. I have some fossorochromis rostratus fry that i want to raise up and breed them as well. I'm also tryin to get my hands on some exochromis anagenys to do the same. I have to order them from dave's rare fish and ship em up here. I only know of one other person in indiana with those. :/

I think my 7ft 240 is too small for them! ...and the fossos.Seriously-got about 30 from this, almost a year ago.now some are 6in,while some only3-4in.

Great fish and video. I've read you will need a long tank some along the lines of 6 feet at a min. They need the swim space more than the vertical. Its fun to read the comments because A) have a bucco B) want Caeruleus and exo's in the worst way. The exo's seem to be the hardest to get. They are out there but are a challenge.
