Snakeheads seem like the perfect fish to keep in a paludarium. I started mine 1 year ago, but I had to wait 9 months for the fish. I've never changed water. I have 8 of them in there. After the initial fights a dominant fish emerged and it's been quite and calm since then. No sexyal activity yet. I'm hoping for a pair to emerge come spring. All the fish grow and fatten. They are absolutely fearless, constantly begging for food. They even jump and bite my fingers if I put my hands in their tank.

Hi,

very nice !! Good job.

Didnt know channa made it to Bulgaria ! Benn there working a few months in 2009, beautiful country, good food and beer.
Frindly people, and more speakers of my language that I had expected.

nice , i used to house a gachua in a paludarium too , you didnt change water at all ?

No water changes whatsoever. But I do have a canister filter filled with ceramic rings for biological filtration. I rely on the plants to purify the water. Tests hardly show any nitrates.
Besides I know channa don't like waterchanges. A massive water change is scheduled for next spring :D
