The news stations are REALLY blowing it out of proportion (Its a monster that can walk on land, breath air, and eat your dog and the coyotes!)
Though I personally don't keep them, I feel it would be very unfair for the goverment to ban snakeheads just because of just this one idiots mistake...
 
What a Moron...because of these stupid idiots exotic fish are becoming more rare and even banned from imports...I feel sorry for the snakehead if the officials find it and kill it. I'm sure the idiot who dumped it was a clueless fish keeper as there are many fishkeepers in BC who have monster tanks and they could of rescued the poor snakehead.

Are we sure that it come from a hobbist and not one of these oriental businessman? At last that's where the snakeheads of Potomac River come from oriental businessmen. Either that, both are stupid and will ruin everything for us. Hopefully you guys in Canada won't get a snakehead ban.
 
i like it. Hope they are able to get a hold there and bring some new blood in the ecosystem. You know my opinion, no mercy with bad genetics which are nable to live with change.
