Chancho... is it a male?

I'm not an expert but ime cichlids with humps are usually males.

Still early but based on the body and head I am thinking you have a male

Looks male to me too, as it doesn't have any dark markings in the dorsal, and the profile is steep.
But Amps aren't my forte, so I wouldn't bet the hacienda on it.

Thanks for the replies, I have heard that females do have a dark spot, but I wasn't sure how accurate it was or wasn't. I actually have 3 chanchos and they all look male to me. A fourth I gave away, I think was male as well. When I got them a couple months ago from cichlids of the Americas I did ask for males if possible. I guess we'll see for sure as they grow, which seems to be fairly quick.
