Hello MFKers, I just gOt a chancho yesterday and I understand it's aggressive but I didn't realize a 8" chanchO will punk my 18" Peacock Bass. Anything I can do to disperse it's aggression toward the bass. Chancho already beat up the trimac that I know is coming, but don't want my bass to stay at one corner. Now I net out the chancho and put him in my sump...
Any advice be great.
My set up 240 g
2 18" bass
1 pike
1 trimac
1 jack dempsey
1 tiger Oscar
1 chancho

Like I said in your other post, these are big aggressive fish. There's no way you can force them to get along if it's just not working. I think you're lucky enough as it is all your stock gets along, I wouldn't throw any more fish into the mix.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to sale the chancho. Thx man!

No problem. Good luck with your tank. It's too bad about the chancho, I really like them and was thinking about getting a pair a while back. Guess they lived up to their aggressive reputation for you too (reason I didnt end up getting them).
