Moved the pair to my 220 gallon and noticed the male is putting on some size!! I heard that these are slow growing but I don't agree! This guy has been growing at a nice rate since I got him from Jeff Rapps about 6 months ago. He's about 10" now and really getting thick!

very nice George look real good. Not sure about the browth, but one thing I did hear about them. Is that they do not get a good head like the most Barred's do is this true or what do you know of this?

He's got a nice little knot that looks more prominant when they are getting ready to spawn. I think the head development is genetic. This guy is getting there.
