Hello! I changed the plans with having an outdoor pond. I guess its better to have a heated pond indoor than having the pond outdoor in the cold windy areas where your electricity will skyrocket!! So im going to make the pond indoors in my pool table room =] But im going to make the pond size a little bigger. Im going with a 12'x8'x5'. Now with that size indoor pond I can have more space for my fishes to swim in. I still have some new questions though on the aireation of the whole pond....how can I aireate the whole thing or do they need air in that size pond? I need to know if its going to be needed to enter that gas exchange process also for that algea problem stuff and the ammonia. How do I heat it? Oh yea does anyone have experience with those water heaters at HomDepot? are those good heaters? Filters I have already planned as im going to make my own 55 gallon bucket filters like about 4 of them so like 2 on each end of the pond on the width side and the main filter im buying at a pond store that filters 8,000 gallons on the rated tab and only on the red sale for $398.98/ original price was $848.89....so please answer my questions =] as i'll get this pond building started! once its up and running this baby is gunna house my Monsters =]

Be real carefull!!!!a pond that size is gonna reak havoc with your pool table if you don't vent the hell out of it .How big is your room?

well the room was the place where we had the pool table and all the gaming stuff in but we moved it all upstairs and made the pool table room into a fish room. And from what my knowledge of the size of the room....i think its 28'x16'x11' for the whole room dimension

Their was a video on youtube with a amazonian setup with lots of Arowanas and catfishes and pacus in it....i think it was a 1,500 gallon indoor pond/tank.....but yea...im trying to make it like that....just mines going to be a lil bigger than it

Id highly recommend some sort of permantent cover that you keep on it 90+ percent of the time to deal with evaporation damaging the house. So if you'd like to maintain a view of the fish a large viewing window is probably going to be in order not only because you'll need a cover but a 5ft height is way to tall to look down on normally.

oh i see....so is their a place where you'd suggest i'd go look into for those covers?
