Changed my mind

Well I was going to get a Black Rhom but after a lot of thinking I decided against it I just don't have the room for a possible 16" fish so I am going with a solo Red Belly its a little easier to house one Red Belly for awhile then I will upgrade and get more Reds.What would be the best food to feed this fish,how many water changes a week?And is just rock structures ok (I have seen a lot of tankswith plants) your help is appreciated.

You realize no one has grown a small rhom past 12in? And even then it will take like 10 years. The rbp will grow faster than the rhom.

12'' is max for a Red Belly right? I plan to keep my fish their entire lives so I would still need a bigger tank for the Rhom or no ?
