Well its been about a month and I didn't like the way my tank was set up. Here is a pic of it before

Well my family owns a burial business so we have plenty of granite laying around. There was one stone that we had done and misspelled (hey it happens) So I asked my grandfather about it and he let me have it since it wasn't going to be used.

He picked it up and dropped it and it broke into a couple pieces.

This is the finished product once I had it in the tank.

I really like how it adds a lot of caves and adds a more natural look. granted the swimming area for the fish is a little smaller but I think they should really enjoy the new territory.

Let me know what you all think. The tank is a 55gal Bowfront.

I will try to get better pics when its dark. The only thing I worry about now is my tank being haunted hahaha.

That looks nice those flat surfaces are nice for spawning and make good caves when stacked nicely like you have... good job!

Thanks for the complements as promised better pics now

I also have a blue light that just lights the tank and acts like a moon light but my camera died so no pics.

Do you guys see anything I should change or do different.

how about a background poster for the tank>? I think it looks good! what size tank is that? what kind of substrate is that? I really like it...

For a background its currently just a piece of cardboard that is painted blue.

I belive it is either a 46 or 55 bow front.

I have pool filter sand as my substrate.

What type of background would you think would look good with this setup?

rocks or plants whatever, some peple dont like the backgrounds that you can buy at the lfs to put on the back but I like them... depending on what it is...

I would love to have a 72 gallon but for 125 bucks with everything included I had to pic this up haha. I really would like to get some java moss or fern to grow around the rocks.
