changed the 120gal to a full on native

got the 120gal stocked with a small mouth, lmb, crappies...will be getting yellow bullheads, yellow perch, rock bass and a shovlenose sturgeon...i will work on some pics...

i have been battling free floating green algea as i know my filtration needs to be improved...i am going to be adding some natural sand and more plants to counter the lack of flow...i only have 580gph on it with hydroponics as the bulk filtration...so a powerhead and more plants is the way to go...i hope to have the tank complete within a few weeks to a month with pics to go with...

just thought i would "spread the news" that i am getting back into full native tanks and that includes native plants to complete the bio-type...

I love natives and I am glad you are devoting a tank to them......but unless you have a pond or 250g + that tank is to small for Largemouth Bass and Shovelnose Sturgeon; In other words I hope this is just a growout tank.

Got to agree. Your stock list in insane for that tank size unless you are only keeping juvies.

i know all the adult sizes and i am ready for them, thanx for your concern...a shovlenose will top out around 2-3' and it will take several years to get there...i will also be getting some lake sturgeons in the future for a diff native setup...
