I changed my Decorations around recently(the white marble chips are going next).
I will probably change over to 1\4"-1\2" of black gravel\black sand combo.
I picked up the large piece of driftwood out of our local river about 2 yrs ago. I took a steam cleaner to it, then put it in my Intex 15' x40" all summer. It still made "tea water" in my 110g for about 6 months.
The other piece I just found recently. I boiled it in a 55 gallon drum for a couple hours, then simmered it overnight, scrubbed it with a wire brush and then rolling boiled it again for 3-4 hrs.
