Changing a SW to FW

So I seemed to have scored a 170g tank that was previously used as a SW tank. How should I prep it for FW?

Clean it with vinegar then rinse with Water until clean?

Scrub with FW and a Sponge?

I also need to clean a Previously SW Wet/Dry also, anyone have to do this before that can provide some insight?

pour some vinegar in the tank and dilute it with water and let it sit for a couple days you can clean like that also.

and let it dry in the sun for a day or two and rinse really well. that should do the trick. do the same with the sump
