will changing the background of my tank, scare my already scared EBJD juvis?
I have 5 of them ranging from 2 to 3 inches in my 55 gallon.
My question is will changing their background from a dark stone-ish background to a lighter blue/green planted background scare them and make them less person friendly and more skidish if I change their environment?
how should I do it if so?

thanks so much

from what i kno ebjd are skittish fish by nature anyway so i dont think the background change will b a big factor but going from the dark natural look to a big brightened color might add some stress and/or surpise for a little but i think theyll get use to it remember there still juvies and alot of new stuf can affect them easy

I would stick with a darker background. But your tank do what works for you. Any dempseys ine have been hiders. They just don't like the light at all.
