changing colors on laps

I´m amazed...as i got my two lapws two weeks ago they were senegal brown. They were active but did not look very attractive. Now they look like completly different animals. They got very dark brown with stripes running down from their nose back to the tail.

yeah i think my lap did the most dramatic change once it settled into the tank. hids alot tho so i dont see him much :\

Im lucky with my laps they swim alot in the open water

Hey guys some photo of your laps? =)
Saw one the other day in a LFS and wondering if i should get em.
And how big they get? Cant seems to get the info from stickies.
