lol but on a serious note, do partial water transfers, the fishes will adapt a lot better this way...also transfer the biomax if you can as well so you can start that nitrogen cycle

Make sure to acclimate if the fish is bought somewhere else.
Acclimate by pouring tank water into the bag per 1hr

Fill a small bucket with aquarium water, net the fish and placed it in there. Add an airstone. Then use the drip technique to acclimate the fish to your new tank water parameters. And finally net it into the tank and off the lights for about 4 hours.

1. put fish in bucket or other holding receptical/unplug filtration, heaters ect ect.
2. empty old tank water inot buckets or directly into the new tank.
3. dump fish into new tank
4. Put old filter + new filter on new tank and plug in.
5. Top off tank and enjoy the new ambiance
(2-4 weeks later remove old filter if inclined)

How I do it is to set up a sponge filter in the old tank for a couple weeks to seed it with bacteria. Setup the new tank and move the sponge filter to it. When you do your water changes do the new tank first, then the old tank. Put the old tank water in the new.

Do your tests to be sure the new tank is cycled and then move the fish as you would if you bought it from the store. (Drip acclimation is best).
