Changing Foods?

I have my silver on freez dried krill trying to get him over to food sticks i no people say to starve them. How do you do this and how long.

You could try mixing the food sticks in with the krill then slowly replace the krill with the foodsticks. If not just starve a day or two and try the foodsticks. some fish are stubborn. If he doesnt take the food sticks remove them and feed them the next day. Survival will set in before starvation.

this is exactly what i did with my aros. i mixed the food sticks and the krill. aro didnt know what hit him and eventually started to go for food sticks. but i would have to say to keep them on a vary diet and dont rely just on food sticks.

take it easy, just starve him till he is willing to eat new food.
i did this on my aro, they are now willing to eat feeder fish, dried krill or pellets.

I find it easier if there are other fish in the tank he'll see eating too. I've got my big clown knife and wolffish eating pellets off the surface that way.
