Hello. IM thinking of changing my gravel to river rock's. I have enough of gravel to cover the bottom of the tank. Should I take most of it out or should I just leave it and put the river rock's on top of it??? Thank-you.

Depends on what you want it to look like. As long as you dont have a UGF or RUGF your substrate has only limited bio on it most of it should be in the filter. I changed all my rocks to sand and had no issues. Changed from sand to nothing again with no issues.

I want to go for a more natural look. I have balck and blue gravel and I want to change it to black river rock's. I have a Penguin 350 Filter so I shouldn't have any problem's. Thank you for your help.

Not complicated.........Mix it up..Or remove the center of the tank's gravel and fill it up with sand........Go to Home Depot and purchase your sand and "rock...."It is much more to spend at your local fish store...25lbs of natural gravel costs about $3 and sand cost way less if spent at home depot........
