So, I've been offered all the equipment I would need to set up a SW tank for free, just have to buy live rock & sand etc. I've already moved my Jack Dempsey over to my 55 along with most of my rocks & driftwood out of the 65. Now I'm left with a piece of manzanita, 14 tiger barbs & a juvie convict in my 65. My 55's current stock is updated in my signature.
I'm debating on whether or not I should move 6 or 8 of the tiger barbs over to the 55 to have a dither in there. Filtration isn't a big issue, I think I'll be able to move the 65's XP3 over to the 55 & have two xp3's on there, and I can also add my hot250 & penguin200 for even more filtration if needed. But the tank is getting to be pretty full anyways, I'm wondering if the dithers would be worth it. So far I haven't seen any aggression issues with my JD (which is kind of surprising, I'm sort of waiting for him to get comfortable and explode on everything

What do you guys think? Add a small shoal of barbs, or go ahead and give them all away? I'm definitely giving away the convict (as well as the other juvie thats still hiding out in the 55, as soon as I can catch the little bugger)
The JD is about 6", one sen is about 6" the other is 3", the pictus is about 4" the leopard ctenopoma is about 1.5" & the eel is about 5". The JD & the larger sen haven't grown much at all in the past month or two, nor has the pictus cat. Everything else I'm expecting relatively quick growth over the next couple months before they slow down. It seems like all the senegals I get from petsmart stop growing at around 6", but I also haven't had one survive past that point for more than 2 months yet (one jumped, the other explored a powerhead) so we'll see.
