channa andrao breeding

hi i want to share my 2 feet tank ,my bonded pair channa andrao finally have succeesfull breed after several time male eat the egg during holding.

im sorry about pict quality, i use old camera 12 mp and my 5 mp phone camera

this pict taken after several days holding i see the male no longger holding youngster,he let all fry swim near him,and only take when he feel uncomfort.





im surprise they grow so fast





this is how they beg for food to mama andrao


channa andrao is egg feeder type,so the female feed youngster with eggs, i only have 1 pict egg feeding moment


now they reach 2 cm

Im confuse, how to feed fry without overfeed the parent , i feed fry with frozen blood worm and when feeding time parent will ate the fbw too...
Usually i feed them every 3-4 days.

use small Food, the parents are too big to eat, like lobster eggs, Daphnia ,cyclops,freschly hatched brine shrimp, decapsulated brine shrimp eggs,...
