Yes I know but I don't have a room and 800+ fry would be a troublesome. I don't wanna give them away or sell them as their are plenty of irresponsible fish keeper here in North America. I don't want them to be release in bodies of waters and reproduce and ending for all snakehead species to be ban. They are ban already in Toronto and they have much colder temp here in Vancouver. Plus my other monster fish are happy and I save money as I get free food.

When I breed them I separate them as they become very territorial. I actually look at sign of the male separating itself in a corner and chase anyone that gets near or flare at them except for the female. I later move them back to a 180g tank and let the breed. When the fry are at 3" as they grow fast just within a few weeks. I put the pair back to the comm tank. If I don't the female becomes aggressive as it killed the lat male I pair up with her. Now I keep doing this procedure as the female calms down when I put her back to the comm tank. Save me from getting another male.

Food!!!! These guys are sold as food in Asia. You're doing the right thing by using them as feeders than giving them away. There are too many idiot fish keepers out there.

And that's the reason why I don't want to sell them or give them away. It's start with selling it or giving it away till someone let them go in a river or lake then the banning starts when someone spotted them being introduce. I don't want that to happen as it would sucks if all snakeheads are ban here just like in Ontario, all over the US and the rest of other countries that banned them.
