Is the Ch. Argus the same as the Northern SH? Just curious, are the keeping conditions similar for a Channa Argus and a Channa Micro? Does the Northern SH swim around a lot like the Micro? Can an Argus grow quickly like a Micro? Any inofmation or advise you can provide would be appreciated... Thanks.

Yes Argus and Northern SH are the same. As for the conditions, i believe argus is more towards a sub-tropical temp, compared to a mirco which is only fully tropical. Not too sure though.

The Behaviour,act,and their aggresive temperament are the same as the Channa Micropeltes.
Argus does take the same food as Micropeltes too, without any kind of problems.
But anyway, Channa Micropeltes is a tropical fish. That means, that the fish only prefer a hotter water temperature.
Argus anyhow, it can survive in both hot and in a colder water temperature.

Thanks for the info. Anyone else have experience with the Argus? Please post some details and pics. There's a lot of people catching them hear and I'm very interested in details about this fish. I sure wish it were legal to keep these... Sucks!!!
