Channa Asiatica hiding also tankmate

i have had my SH for a while now and ist about 7" long and its always hiding is this normal, also would it ba a good idea to put in another asiatica about same size or would they fight.

probably would fight at first as even a male and female doesn't mean a matched pair straight away,most small-medium size SH's hide quite a bit anyway but as long as there are plenty of hiding places you should see more of them especially at feeding time! my gachua always hid until it was hungry!

yes once settled it will come out more but prob won't be out and about all the time,just the way they are
