So I have three blue rainbows (assam) in a 33 gal tank. What can I do to make sure they breed? It appears I have two males and one female. They are no where near mature size yet but I'm just wondering if anyone has had success breeding these guys. I have to say I've owned the true rainbow bleheri and they are no where near as beautiful as the assam. Eventually I'd like a nice school of assam in my 120 gal tank with an arow or something. Any advise on how to approach breeding these guys would be greatly appreciated.

I bred them several times.
They are subtropical, and NO Arowana food. I kept them at low temperatures (15to 17°C) and with little food (once a week, or once a month) and did No waterchanges in the winter months. They started breeding when the temps rised, and I made a little waterchanges and gave more food.

its cold outside in wintertimje in Germany, so I just dont heat the room were the tanks are in.
lots of Channa, especially Sp. Assam are subtropical, and dont need heaters at al.
