Channa Aurantimaculata, female or male??

Hello all,

This is my first Channa and it is only around 7" at the moment. Could someone please confirm whether it is a female or not?
After spending some time researching I am guessing it is a female but would like to hear confirmation from you experts since I am still pretty new with this wonderful fish.

Very nice, I hate to guess based one pic can you post a couple more? one of it flaring would be great! Also at 7" ot might not be mature enough to sex accuratly.
