Iv had my pair of Channa Bankanensis in my set up for about a year now, and they have recently become much less active. Before they would often be seen swimming around, then resting in the open, but now they seem to hide all the time. The only way i know they're still in there is because I hear them coming up to breath at night.
The tank is heavily planted with plenty of bog wood, and a duckweed cover.
Have they just settled into they're environment and doing what comes naturally or should i be worried?

My pair are not too active and stay fairly hidden most of the time, they do get very active when ts feeding time though. Mine are just over 2 years old, they used to be full of activity until they matured

Yeah I think its just the age, they were out and a bout for the first time in a while last night looking out as if the were hungry, couple of Morios later they whet back and hid
