channa barca at LFS

another one. this LFS appears to have a constant supply. a fish collector makes rounds around the regions. gets to know local catchers as well as fishermen and asks them to hold onto certain species. One of these places must be barca territory.

about a foot long, asking 3700USD. black marking stands out just behind gill plate. u guys think male or female?

LFS reported, similar with my barcas, water changes cloud eyes over for few days then goes away. have tried everything. will go drip system eventually.

funny so thought i'd share. changing around the filter inlet today and my barca bit my finger. foot long fish, hardly broke skin but startled me.

Yeah, they have a been popping up at many LFS here in Japan lately too!
They must have sourced them now and trying to milk the market.

Think I might wait a few more months for the price to come down.

i think so. cos got mine half this price, and Im sure they're getting them at same cost or less.
