I am about to get my first snakehead, at first I am going to buy some bleheri for my 100g tank, however the shop just got some barca snakehead and my question iswhich would make a better first snakehead?

Their care are pretty identical, but Barca needs a hell of a bigger tank.
You also have to consider Barcas go way beyond the 1k mark, pricing wise for some specimens, while Bleheris can be bought for 10$.
If I got to choose, I would go Barca.
If I had to pay for them, I would go bleheri.

Is it Barca or " cf barca" ie stewertii ? They are 2 very different species . As previously mentioned Barca are quite pricey , I'd be surprised to see them in a shop unless special ordered . What the "cf Barca" is much cheaper and just a varrient of stewertii.
What I love about you is that despite having researched everything I could possibly find on most channas, I learn something every single time.
Cf barca is stewartii karbianglong
, they can grow more than 12" , the most beautiful of all stewartii , if its in option go for it , sadly in may I lost my pair due to the break of aquarium
