Best to sex them in groups. Specimens of the same age, and under the same care, will show the males as being slightly more colorful and larger than females. Females will also appear more plump in the abdomen due to the size difference between female ovaries and male gonads.
I once had had a group of 6, I found the girls we're more orange in colour and the boys we're more green/brown.
Is colouring an actual difference? I'm not quite sure
