Channa bleheri pair pix

picked up a pair of Channa bleheri today the only problem is that one has what seems to be popeye (see pics). the other has some scratches on the head which will heal no problem. i think the eye was being treated with amoxycillin, has anyone succeeded in treating pop eye its never been a problem for me until now.

nice channa i believe the maracyn products treat pop eye but any good antibiotic med should work

Make sure the water stays clean also....

Hello!
Be carefull with fungal infections !!!
That is one of the most causes of death for snakeheads!!!
It is very important to heve clean water then!

I alway seperate the fish into a smaller box ,with about 10 litres of content!
I only use reversal osmosis water then.........mixed with a tiny little bit of tab water!
Use almond leafs !
keep the fish darker,so it might calm down!
I put always a piece of pvc pipe into the pox where the fish can hide!
do not feed it at the beginning of the treatment........
Some medicaments you can buy in a petshop might not work!

a antibotic medicament would be fine also!
first a crash course with antibiotic an then the thing with the leafs!
