Help in Breeding Project...
Tank:
200 L
pH 6.5 - 6.8
Minimum Flowing
Temp 25º (in warm days 27º)
04 Channa Bleheri

P.S. Two of them were fighting some days ago....and one, as you can see, are with a huge belly. could it be pregnance or just a fat Bleheri ?
Seeing the full tank shot, what should be added ? Wood, Plants, Hiden Spots ?

Tks all !

Tank and setup look great, I doubt she's prego/gravid probably just fat, they are nest builders/ brooders .

Tank looks good, but the temps are too high. Bleheri are sub tropical. Temps should be closer to 20-22c , short periods of time up 25-27 range will be fine, and winter dips down to 16-17 would be ideal . Long term at those high temps they will start to display dull colors become lethargic , this then tends to progress into more serious issues. At high temps long term bleheri tend to develop/become prone too fungal/bacterial infection. It hits fast and quickly erodes them away and then kills them with very few options for successful treatment.

Like with many sub tropical species Bleheri will likely need the winter cool down to induce successful breeding.

Hope that helps!
