They have two beautiful Channa bleheri at my local aquashop, $60 each, between 4-6 inches. Does it sounds ok? Not to expensive? I have never bought/own a snakehead before.

Hmm, in the US I would say thats not too expensive. As jelly says they usually cost £10-20 here in the UK. Are they definitely bleheri as I've seen at least 4 different species labelled as bleheri in the last few months....look for orange spotting in the tail. If there's no spotting, they're not bleheri

its hard to tell what species that is, from the pic. Bleheris for 60 bucks is a steal in california, as they are not available.
Well, somehow the bleheri I have seen were all darker, with more colored lines. And that is expensive for a bleheri. I bought 2 pleurophthalma (4") a few months ago for 25$ CDN each...
it could be a bleheri, if you look at the photo, check out the blue mouth.
also, bleheris do not have pelvic fins.
