i had a 90gallon lying free, so i picked up 5 channas... i think they are bleheris.. they are 3 inches big rite now.... i hope to breed em once they grow up.. if they are not bleheris then please let me know :) thanks....

These are not bleheri. They are channa sp. Assam or lal cheng shops call them "blue bleheri". The real bleheri has orangered spots in the tailfin. The lal cheng are subtropical like bleheri,aurantimaculata stewartii,... they dont want the water too warm. permanently high temps cause early death. regards brucki PS: give them more hiding places, and they will show better colours

P.S i stay in India that is a tropical climate.. i stay in a hot city so i do not use heaters :) ... however the temperature does not drop more than a degree or 2 at nights (in the room which i have kept them)

the snake heads are available for approx for 60 pence (50 Indian rupees)

do u get piranha's in bombay?if yes then for how much?
im frm bombay too....but been staying in china for ages now...

i think u do get them.. i have seen the regular RBPS some time ago..not seen them recently .. i have never kept them so i really dont look for them :)
