I have found some in info and experienced some thingsand this is what I have found. also Mine are almost 11 inch and I have two not sure of sex of either yet.....
Recommended Tank Size: Large tank 120 or bigger would be best
Temperament: semi aggressive - non territorial
Temperature: 78-82F (80 is a good medium temp)
PH: wide range 5 to 7
Diet: they will eat everything from live minnows to golsfish what ever small fish. Meal worms Blood worms, crickets
and scallops shrimp ,smelt haddock.etc
