Hi, has anyone ever dealt with a dwarf channa with swim bladder problems. The fish suddenly lost the ability to control its buoyancy. Now it's always floating and sometimes turns upside down.

Any advice for treatment?

Water parameters are good.
<20 Nitrate
0 Ammonia
0 Nitrite
7 pH

No other issues aside from a little bit of color loss. It's still eats as well

Hi!
I'm sorry this is happening.
I don't know your setup so it's hard to say.
Your values look good though I'd say for Channa the nitrate may be a bit high.
If it's having these issues let's assume it's not able to get as much oxygen as it should.
I'd change the water 50‰, increase salt from 10 ml/10 liter to 15ml/10 liter with the new water, and raise the pump outlet to provide oxygen straight into the water for now.
How are its fins? Are they clamped? Dorsal fin flopped?
Gills moving more frequent and shallower than normal? How big is its space and is it the only fish in there? Do the feces look as they usually do?
Is it stressed for any reason? Recent temperature fluctuations? Moved tanks?
Lastly I'd invest in a UVC filter as it can remove and keep at bay the most base level new pathogens that may have entered and tried to thrive in your tank.
Try to not stress it out but calmly adress what you can.
Best of luck!

Thanks. The fins look fine. Not clamped or any damage. The fish is in a 36"x18"x16" aquarium and the only other tank mates are a few L# plecos.

I'll add some salt. Already did a 50% water change a day or two ago.
