Can snakeheads get "hole in head disease"? I just bought a house and moved all my tanks but noticet yesterday a pit 0,5mm deep and 4mm wide on top of the head of my female.

i'm pretty sure all fish can get HITH. Could you post a pic?

isnt HITH happen over time?
it doesnt happen overnight, right?

i thought the same thing with mine, but the injury apperaed to be a lost scale in the center of ita head. i gave it a few salt baths and it went away.

Hith can happen to any fish but some are more likely than others to catch it. it takes time to develope and starts as pinhead sized holes.

I am aware of a few Snakeheads which developed a problem where the head 'caved in', I never quite managed to find an explanation. 3 times it was fatal.
