channa gaucha

what is the average tempature for the channa gaucha? are they cave dwellers? any personal exp. and info would be appreciated. thanks in advance

they aren't fussy about temp. but the warmer the more active they'll be.
they do like to hide

I have three in a 150 , temp is about 78-80. Yes, they like to hide.

They are one of the most adaptable snakeheads and are found in both cool and incredibly hot waters in the wild but gachua is the correct spelling. I keep mine at around 75F and it is very peaceful with the other fish in the tank (Satanoperca jurupari and Polypterus ornatapinnis). They're not cave dwellers but as said above, do like a refuge to call home. Here is a bad pic:

whats not good?? i came home and i cant find my other dwarf!!! wtf!!! i have a fully enclosed acrylic tank where the fcuk is he going?!?!?!?! i cant believe i lost both my channa's in a period of a day. its as if i never had them. wtf
